Per Trade Killswitch
Per Trade Killswitch
Exits a trade when your PNL reaches a defined threshold.
Per Trade Killswitches are calculated from the moment your enter a trade until your position flattens.
You can add to your position or have multiple targets. It will all count as the same trade until your position goes flat.
Once your per trade PNL reaches your defined profit or loss limit, the Predator sends a MARKET order to exit immediately.
Market orders exit quickly but have no guaranteed fill price, so your final PNL can be above or below your limit. You'll get an alert when it activates; disable and re-enable the strategy (or wait for a new day) to continue.
The KS Drawdown Trail starts trailing your kill switch after your PEr Trade PNL reaches the Trail Trigger limit.
Example: Trail kill switch trigger at $200 with a $100 drawdown — once $200 profit is reached, the drawdown activates;
if PNL then retraces $100 from its highest point (peak $400 → back to $300), a market order exits your position.
This can capture more profit but risks giving some back.
